Level Solutions Delivers Energy Efficiency with SEMCO’s Pinnacle™ Series

Conventional HVAC systems sometimes have problems delivering performance efficiency along with proper thermal comfort. Level Solutions partners with SEMCO to offer both in one dependable energy recovery system – the Pinnacle™ Series. The Pinnacle Series delivers preconditioned outdoor air to conventional HVAC systems, effectively increasing outdoor air percentages.

SEMCO’s Pinnacle Series offers the most energy efficient dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS) on the market. Pinnacle provides outdoor air preconditioned to very low dew points, and is capable of managing all internal latent loads to supplement space cooling and heating. This efficient ventilation system features the highest performing energy recovery wheel, FläktGroup® SEMCO’s True 3Å wheel.

True 3Å Wheel

This innovative technology responds to various combinations of temperature and humidity by modulating the passive dehumidification wheel and the cooling coil. The system delivers a constant stream of optimally conditioned ventilation air while exhausting stale, polluted indoor air.

FläktGroup SEMCO developed a unique application of a 3 Ångstrom desiccant on wheels to improve indoor air quality in buildings by avoiding the transfer of exhausted volatile organic compounds back into the fresh outdoor air. Contaminant carry-over with True 3Å is less than .045%. The Pinnacle features the same energy recovery wheel used at John Hopkins School of Medicine whose Health and Safety Department’s expected minimum was 100% outdoor air ventilation with ten air changes per hour. John Hopkins School of Medicine chose the True 3Å wheel for their ability to provide superior indoor air quality, contaminant carry-over, and energy efficiency.

Pinnacle Series

The Pinnacle Series provides substantial operating savings by eliminating the need for traditional overcooling and reheat systems. Optimizing the condition of your building’s supply air, the Pinnacle Series reduces the demand for overall heating and cooling capacity, which can result in significant savings in installation costs. Pinnacle I – dehumidifies outdoor air as low as 40 grains – dewpoints unattainable with conventional systems. The Pinnacle I consists of the following components:
