VibroAcoustics Rooftop Unit Noise ControlLevel Solutions offers a broad range of noise control solutions designed for HVAC systems through our partnership with Vibro-Acoustics. Considering all application factors to develop the best noise solutions, we are able to eliminate noise-related environmental issues. 

Together with the Vibro-Acoustics team, we use an integrated systems approach in minimizing noise problems at the design stage. We consider the comprehensive system, including how each component interacts with the others. In that analysis, airborne and structure-borne noise are examined, along with application requirements such as environment, pressure drop with system effects, project cost and time, as well as IAQ. This enables us to not only solve the noise problem but also meet the specific project requirements.

  • The Form Work Floating Floor system consists of engineered isolators, perimeter isolation board, formwork, polyethylene waterproofing sheet and optional fiberglass blanket.

    • Plenums – Used to provide low frequency attenuation for critical systems or for air distribution where multiple branch ducts are required directly after an air handling unit
    • Absorption Panels – Can be applied to a space to reduce reflective sound energy; also can be used to line shafts, mechanical rooms and other spaces that require sound level reduction
    • Enclosures – Used to surround mechanical equipment and reduce radiated noise transmitted to occupied spaces within buildings; also utilized in outdoor installations to prevent reflected or transmitted property line noise issues
    • Barriers – Placed between a noise source and a sensitive receptor in order to increase the length of path the noise must take, thereby providing additional attenuation
  • Sil-Throw is designed to provide a steady draft-free flow of uniform, low-velocity air to occupied spaces. Both supply and return air systems are available in straight, curved, horizontal, and vertical applications. 

    • Neo+ (NP) series – Vibration isolation for mechanical and electrical systems and equipment; most effective when used on stiff supporting structures with mid- to high-frequency vibration sources
